MISSION REPORT 75-003 – PART III

Mission Report continues: We managed to shoot down the Battle Droid on its Stap but one of our men got injured.

After the fight we went to higher ground to give JD some rest.

Sion had treated his wound already but it was clear that he couldn’t join us for the rest of the Mission.

Commander Tosh: Take it easy Trooper, we won’t leave you behind. We get you home as quick as possible.

JD: Sorry Sir. I just couldn’t evade that attack…everything happened so fast.

TG: At least you are alive, JD and that is the most important thing.

Commander Tosh: Indeed.

Commander Tosh: Rick! AJ! You two stay here with JD and make sure that he doesn’t get into any more trouble.

Rick & AJ: Yes, Sir!

Rick: Don’t worry, Sir we’ll keep an eye on him and secure the area.

Commander Tosh: Right. Time to move on. Let’s find General Kenobi.

We left our brothers behind to seek out the entrance to the Separatist’s hideout. After 3 hours walk through the jungle we finally arrived a spot that seems to be the place where Grievous kept General Kenobi.

Sion: Well, looks like as we have to big guys guarding the entrance to this cave.

TG: ONLY two battle droids. We’ll have them down in no time.

Commander Tosh: Right. TG?

TG: Yes Sir?

Commander Tosh: You get behind those two, while Sion and I get their attention.

TG: Yes, Sir.

And so we did. The Commander and Sion opened fire on the two heavy amoured Droids, while I used their distraction to sneak behind.

Quickly and without any problems I positioned myself behind them.

I was in the perfect position . . .

to open fire and support the Commander and Sion.

Confused by the attacks from two directions, the Droids went soon down.

That happens when you start a fight with the Stingers.

We then went to the entrance of the cave. We had no idea what to expect down there but we knew one thing: We would do ANYTHING to free the General from the Separatists!

And so we entered the hideout . . .

MISSION REPORT 75-003 – Part II

Mission Report continues: The Shuttle reached the Outer Rim and we landed on a Planet which was uninhabitated.  We landed on a plateau above a huge grass jungle.

It was night on this Planet which made it easier for us to stay unseen.

Commander Tosh: ‘Ok Stinger, let’s keep on moving. We need to find a way down from this Plateau.’

Our special Troop had the nickname Sting because we just had very few, highly trained members, which made it easy to stay unnoticed and hit the enemy where he didn’t expected it.

Sion: ‘I recognize these plants, sir. Their liquid helps with Blaster wounds. We should take some of those leaves with us. Just in case.’

Commander Tosh: ‘Agree. Gather what you can, we have to move on. 5 minutes, Lieutenant.’

Sion: ‘Copy that, Sir.’

So we moved on and after one hour Sion found a way where we could get of the plateau.

Commander Tosh: ‘Hmm, that is quite a way down.’

Commander Tosh: ‘Ok, Stingers. Let’s go!’

And we went down. Sion first since he is our jungle expert, then the Commander climbed down.

So we all climbed down, one after another…

I was the last to climb down from the plateau and it was almost dawn.

The sun hung deep red in this alien sky and dark clouds were approching. It looked like as this wouldn’t be a nice day.

Sion led us through the jungle until…

Sion: ‘Stop! My sensors are picking up some signals.’

Commander Tosh: ‘Right. Let’s take cover behind the rock over there. You Sion, go and find out what the source of that signal is.’

Sion: ‘Yes, Sir!’

Sion: ‘Confirmed contact, sir. We’ve got one droid heading towards your location.’

Commander Tosh: ‘Copy that. Follow that droid and make sure you stay behind him.’

Sion: ‘Understood.’

So we waited for the Droid to reach our position.

We would make sure that this lump of metal wouldn’t inform it’s Master.

Silence. The only thing we could hear was the wind blowing through this high grass. But then…there was a sound of something unnatural….the sound of an engine…

Commander Tosh’s voice came over the speaker in our helmets. ‘Get ready.’

Then the Droid on it’s Stap breaked through the grass and the battle began…

Mission Report 75-003

Target: Rescue a high ranking General

Location: Outer Rim

We were on board of the Katana a republican Star Destroyer (Ventor Class) as our Commander called us for a special briefing.

So we went into the briefing room were Commander Tosh told us the bad news that General Kenobi was captured by General Grievous.

Commander Tosh: ‘We only know about this because one of our special Agents was nearby. These are the images he has send us.’

Commander Tosh: ‘It doesn’t look so good I know.’

Commander Tosh: ‘All we know is that Grievous needs the General for some information, so we can be sure that he won’t kill him.’

TG: ‘Not now.’

Commander Tosh: ‘Let’s hope we can get there before that will happen.’

Commander Tosh: ‘All we know is, that they brought him to their base on a Planet in the Outer Rim. So we must hurry to get there as quick as we can!’

Commander Tosh: ‘Get your gear ready. Our Shuttle will start in 2 hours. Dismiss!’

So we left the Katana behind and entered the the darkness of Space…

Mission Report 75-002

Target: Scout the Area and eliminate the Enemy

Location: Top Secret

Mission Report:

Josh and I had been send to another Top Secret Mission on a Planet far, far away from our base. Our task this time was to find out where the Enemy is and to eliminate them.

But our first problem was a big rock in the desert with strange writings on it.

Me: What is this? Do you have any idea what it might say, Josh?

Josh: How should I know? I’m a desert specialist not a linguist.

So we left the mysterious rock behind only to find the enemy waiting for us…

We tried to convice them that it would be better if they would be surrender but, like all Droids, they wouldn’t listen of course.

And just answered with: ‘Attack those two Clone Troopers.’ and ‘Roger, roger.’

I gave them a final warning, but it was already too late. The Droids started their attack and soon the fight began. But something was odd…

What sort of battle droids were they? I never saw anything like it before. They were tiny and their weapons didn’t cause any mayor injuries.

We quickly ‘disabled’ them and everything was over as fast as it started.

And after a few blaster hits on the Droid Transporter, the whole thing blew up nicely. I always enjoy a nice fire at the end of a mission. It feels very satisfying and you can have a nice BBQ before you get picked up by a Shuttle.

And another victory for the Republic thanks to Josh and me.

Mission acomplished!

Mission Report – 75-001

Target: Arrest Goulp Blop

Location: Top Secret

Mission Report:

Our Mission today was to track down the head of a smuggler gang, Goulp Blop. And because reports said that he was hiding in a stone desert area, I got support from Trooper 6561 or Josh. He is a specialist for this sort of terrain. And very soon we were able to track him down.

But he didn’t really wanted to come with us.

After a fight, Goulp Blop tackled Josh down and escaped into his Shuttle, which was waiting in his privat garden.

Luckily my comrade wasn’t badly injured but Goulp Blop managed to escape in his shuttle. But he was arrested only a few minutes later by one of our Ships that was waiting in orbit.

Mission accomplished!
